A few tragic discoveries that I have made of late:

1) The thought of having left an indelible mark in someone's life is just that. A thought. Nary a reality. It probably makes perfect sense now. It is likely that my perceived unimportance in the other's life inadvertently led me to hold back on a subconscious level. And we now know that that perception is actually correct.

2) Relationships are probably best not to be taken too seriously because I somehow find myself encountering far too many who are much more adept than me at playing this ridiculous game of social intercourse. And we almost always know who usually emerges victor.

3) Simply because sometimes we all need to remember that it is never worth hankering after what we do not have, but instead, to appreciate that which we possess. For a failure to do so would only lead to a constant state of dissatisfaction, and an inability to be happy.

I thank all who still continue to check back here. This blog has been idle for far too long.
